Directions to NYP- By MRT, Bus

NYP is located at the intersection of Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 and Ave 8. Look out for some other prominent landmarks such as the Grassroots Club, Yio Chu Kang MRT and Anderson Junior College.

 

 

 

By Bus

Yio Chu Kang Bus Terminal
Alight at the Yio Chu Kang Bus Terminal (next to the Yio Chu Kang MRT station) if you are taking SBS 13, 70, 72, 76, 162 and TIBS 825. Cross the lane to the sheltered pavement along Ang Mo Kio Ave 8. (Grassroots Club will be on the left side of the pavement). The pavement leads you directly to escalators that will take you into the NYP atrium. NYP is only 5 minutes walk from the bus terminal.

Avenue 5: 45, 159 and 265
Avenue 6: 86, 265, 851, 853 and NR1

By Mrt
Alight at the Yio Chu Kang station. After passing through the gate barriers, turn left to the station exit. Cross the bus lane  and walk along the sheltered pavement (facing Ang Mo Kio Ave 8). You will pass by the Grassroots Club during the 5-minute walk to NYP. The pavement leads you directly to escalators that will take you into the NYP atrium.

Food Galore in NYP

With 4 different eat-out places, the North and South canteen, Koufu and McDonald, there are many varieties of food you can choose! From Japanese, Korean to even Thailand delicacies, you are able to enjoy the different food for your everyday campus life in NYP!

Facilities in NYP

Over here, Nanyang polytechnic offer many facilities for you to enjoy and chill out after lessons or during your break!

For active and students who love sports, there is a newly-renovated air-conditioned gym with equipments like the treadmill, the biking machine and other equipment for you. It can be a place for you to train, workout to release stress or even prepare your NAPFA during your
Year 3!

NYP also offers a stadium for outdoor joggers and a swimming pool for you to enjoy and swim in the water.

Of course, there is also a 2-storey library where you are able to read up or borrow on popular textbook or other interesting books. There are also PCs with internet access for you to carry out project research. A café, Hotshot is also a place for ou to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while reading up your favourite materials. Over there, you may also find relevant information from media, magazine and book that may be a help in your projects.

NYP also has a Marketing Service Centre (MSC), where there different stores catering to some of your shopping needs! As it is under-renovated now, a brand new concept of the MSC will be brought to you when it is open before the end of the year. Good news for you! esp. girls, The Face shop has open its outlet in NYP MSC. This means that, you are able enjoy shopping your facial needs with a discount!
