 (This record was set in 2009 with 209,771 unique mentions in 24 hours using the #BeatCancer tag)

How it works?
  • Users are encouraged to send a tweet, update their Facebook status or write a blog post including the #beatcancer hashtag (within 24 hours)
  • PayPal and SWAGG will donate $0.05 for every mention with the hashtag to cancer charities.
Results?
  • Raised more than $70,000 in the process
